In July 2015, archived 4chan posts show a small duck image accompanied by a simple word: “duge.” The repetition, misspelling, and deadpan humor are exactly the kind of tiny internet moments that become unforgettable to the people who find them.
That is the inspiration behind Donald Duge: a new character paying tribute to the old pixel duck, now reimagined with a wispy golden coif, a green face, white wings, and a signature $DONDU chain.
